Seeing the fishermen haul their catch or pull their boats up the shingle of Hastings beach is like stepping back in time and seems so much more natural that the huge factory fishing ships that can sometime be seen haunting our shores. The memory of the delicious truly fresh fish from the shoreline fishmongers had much stomach rumbling when painting this one.
